Welcome to Tipbox. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tipbox platform (“Service”), operated by Tipbox Ltd. (“Tipbox,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in British Columbia, Canada.
By accessing or using Tipbox, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a legally binding agreement to use Tipbox.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
Each organization (“Workspace”) is tied to its own account and users.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
4. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all files, data, and content you upload to Tipbox.
We only use your content to operate and improve the Service.
We do not train AI models on your files or content.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Tipbox to:
Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content
Distribute malware or interfere with systems
Harass, abuse, or harm others
Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Subscriptions & Billing
Tipbox is billed per seat (user) unless otherwise specified.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
Free trials may convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Fees are billed in advance and are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
7. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but:
Tipbox is provided “as is” and “as available”
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
8. Data & Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but:
No system is completely secure
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials
9. Approvals & Digital Actions
Tipbox may include approval workflows and digital acknowledgments:
These are intended for operational use
Tipbox does not guarantee legal enforceability equivalent to certified e-signature providers
Users are responsible for determining legal validity for their use case
10. Termination
You may stop using Tipbox at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if:
These Terms are violated
There is misuse of the platform
Required by law
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Tipbox is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and applicable Canadian laws.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Tipbox means you accept the updated Terms.
